Baptisms
Every Sunday of the month, after the 11:00 AM Mass. Parents and sponsors are expected to attend a baptismal preparation class (Pre-Jordan), which is held on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. Please call the Rectory at 610-275-7711 to schedule.
At least one parent must be an active, registered and practicing Catholic. Canon Law requires only one sponsor, although traditionally there are two. A sponsor must be at least sixteen years old, Catholic, have received Eucharist and Confirmation, and lead a life in harmony with the faith and the role to be undertaken. A baptized non-Catholic may not act as sponsor, but as a Christian Witness.
Weddings
Couples wishing to schedule their wedding in St. Helena Church must meet with a parish priest at least six months prior to the desired wedding date. During this initial interview the couple will be given all the information necessary for the proper planning, preparation, and celebration of their wedding.
